| I would like to hear from anyone else that was on the infamous Mt Rainier trip, where we were all kicked out of the national park. The trip was somtime in 1982, if I recall properly. We road the bus up to Mt Rainier nationl park and stopped at a indian reservation to buy alcohol, I think we almost neede a second bus for all the alcohol that we bought. When we arrived at the campgrounds we all setup several smaller camps. I was with a few of the guys I worked with in 38A and we setup camp along a glacial runoff stream. We stored all our alcohol in the stream to keep it icy cold and ready to drink. A large volume of alcohol was consumed over the time we were there but we got kicked out before we had finished it all, some kids stole some of the booze and claimed someone in our group gave it too them, as if we would GIVE away alcohol. | ||
