FSA

While doing the second half of my 180 day FSA tour I got stuck working the deep sink (not the scullery) we had those big 3x5ft pans that the ms's used to cook bacon and what not on and they were stacked all the way to the overhead. It was closin in on mid-rats add we were getting tired. The open deck hatch was only about 50 feet away and no one was around so we decided to get rid of the pans the easy way! Overboard! Well we almost caused a major ships movement... My shipmate/partner grabbed about ten pans we got to the rail she threw them over but her apron was snagged on the pans! It was dark we were underway ,and you all know how dark dark is, I caught a glimpse of her out of uniform white socks and they were at eye level! She was heading overboard with a stack of bacon pans! I jumped, got a hold of them ankles and hauled her back on deck and to this day she remains my wife. Sn Hill also is the mother of our two sons Caleb Bryson, and Trevor Owen. That was a close call!
