Fast, Healthy Comfort Food Recipes

Spicy Philly Cheesesteak

Recipes Summary : This is a very quick and easy warm sandwich to create. No fancy ingredients but plenty of  taste.

Recipe : Ingredients

1 medium onion, sliced
1 small red bell pepper, sliced
1 small green bell pepper, sliced
2/3 cup medium or hot salsa
4 whole wheat hoagie buns
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1 package deli roast beef

Directions
1. Cook the onion and bell peppers in a nonstick skillet until tender.

2. Add the salsa and heat until warm.

3. Construct the sandwiches with the buns, roast beef, onion, peppers and cheese, then warm them in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes on high, or until the cheese starts to melt.
